2012 was the year I moved forward in technology. I finally sold threw away most of my old clunky camera equipment (it has no value). A Nikon that only uses film, an outdated, clunky video camera, and two digital cameras that didn’t have zoom or at least 10 pixels:
And replaced it with these: A CanonX500 IS that does both HD video and still photography, complete with a 32GB memory card and 30X zoom, an iPhone 4s and an iPad II that do just about anything else neither one of the above could ever dream of doing.

Nice Cindi! I expect great things from you now…:)!!!
P.S. Did you get my e-mail I sent you?
Sharon, no. I didn’t get any email (mylifeinfocus@yahoo.com). Where did you send it?
I responded to your comment on my 13 ways to save in 2013 by e-mail, not on the blog. I have something to share!!
!
Cool. I didn’t get it. Can you try again? I’m dying to hear it……..
Nice post. I’m addicted to my iPhone 4 versus my other camera equipment,
I agree. Amazing piece of technology.
Hey, good for you. Nicely forward. Canons are my favorites.
Me too. I understand them. Plus they take great photos.
A smart decision to move forward! For me, I got iPad 3, Blackberry Torch 2, an Iconia Win8 Tablet, and Lenovo Twist. For camera I use Canon 550D with 50mm 1.8f, 15-85mm, and 70-200mm 2.8f.
You sold the old stuffs or threw em away?
I donated them to a camera school.
I like your Canon camera! Good choice.
It’s so kind of you to do it! Sharing is loving!
I think the young students of today should see the technology of ‘yesterday’. Appreciation for all our current innovations fall in to play. I admire my Canon SX500 IS so much! I am astounded that that small camera can do HD video! Simply amazing.
Agree!
