The photography is right on…but those two??? Sorry, looks kinda wimpy to me. Maybe they are brother and sister? No much enthusiam there
Thanks.
Well, I’m their mother and mother-in-law. I call the kiss downright respectable since I was the one snapping that photo.
You have a beautiful daughter! Is she the one making you a grandma??
Nope. This is my oldest daughter. She’s 35 and says she only wants one child. One day. She and her husband eloped and went to live in Hong Kong for a year. When they returned, they had a little celebration and invited just the immediate family. It was at this event I snapped the photo.
Yes, she is beautiful. She looks exactly like me when I was her age. Every time someone tells her she looks like me, she cringes. She doesn’t want to look like me. Ha ha! Not only does she look like me BUT she acts like me also, when I was this age. She has just recently become a professional photographer (after quitting a high paying fashion job of 11 years). Her wonderful husband helped and supported her while she fulfilled her dream.
le sigh!
(PS: she also married a man much like my own husband, her step-father since she was 4 years old. We think our kids aren’t looking up to us, but they are!)
I’m so sorry. My comment was rude and I really didn’t mean it that way. It was supposed to be funny…didn’t come out that way. My apologies to you and your daughter & son in law.
Won’t happen again.
Oh Jane, don’t be so silly. I didn’t think it was rude. My daughter and SIL were very nervous that day. I thought the kiss was perfect. They had just gotten back from Hong Kong. My SIL looked a bit thin but thankfully, we Italians have fattened him up since then. Apparently, other than rice, you can not get carbohydrates in Hong Kong. No bread or semolina pasta unless you pay big bucks.
Your comment was fine. Don’t give it a second thought. No worries.

Isn’t that photo sweet?
Yes, it is. Thanks.
