I mean, really, give this face a good look. There’s my little (NOT so little, trust me) Louisiana Catahoula Leopard doggie sitting up next to me on my recliner. Isn’t she the most expressive thing? You can almost fully understand her unspoken words by just looking at her face. I got her into the nasty habit of jumping up on this couch next to me while I read my morning emails and sip my coffee. Perhaps, NOT such a good thing.
Because now, even though she sticks to her side of the dual recliner, she thinks the couch is all hers. I’m not the kind of dog owner that ever allowed pets up on furniture (especially my bed!). But every morning as I sat on my dual recliner, she used to come and sit on the floor along side me. First it was the sad eyes. Then a single paw came up on the couch. Then a little whimper. Eventually, both paws were begging alongside the couch and I fatally made the mistake by saying the word “up” and that was the end of that. I got myself a new best friend forever.

I’m smiling at this post! My ‘boy’ is allowed on our couches, chairs, beds. Ahem. He wasn’t suppose to, but he is my boy. Dogs are so very loyal. Always there for you. LOVE them.
Dogs rock!
That’s a neat looking dog.
Thanks. She’s a southern dog, so up here in the north, no one knows anything about the breed.
It was new to me.
Who could resist those eyes?
They’re actually golden yellow eyes but I just can’t capture the exact color correctly. She’s an amazing, loyal companion. Go dog!
