When is that point in your life when you make the jump from getting older to being older? For me, that event took place on the day when I no longer thought about the time I have lived. Instead, I starting thinking about the time I had left to live.
Merrill Lynch, a retirement investment firm, launched this new (horrific) software that can show you what you will look like as you get older. You need to have a camera embedded either into your computer or iPad in order to get the software to work properly. Since Merrill’s job is to scare you into saving for retirement, presumably with them, the software is programmed to make you look old and decrepit. Much older and decrepit, in my opinion.
Either way, I have been happily deluding myself that I am aging just fine. After all, I still have 30 to 40 more years to live. But after seeing what Merrill did with my photograph, I’m not so sure anymore.
Here’s the link. Use it only if you dare. And whatever happens, just keep putting money away. You may want to consider plastic surgery sometime in the near future.

I like the article, but I will pass on the software! haha!
All the best,
I don’t blame you! Sometimes technology can be such a bore.
Oh my gosh, I had fun with this one! I actually did not look too bad at 67!
!
Good for you! My husband looked fantastic up until 107. Gosh, men age so much differently than women.
Personally, I didn’t look too good around 87 and 97. Ugh.
Our local science museum has a camera that will “age” you – you can choose to see yourself at ages up until 80 or 90, I think. The last time I was there was in my early 50s, and I wanted to see how I would look at 80. There was no change! I took that to mean that I will be aging very gracefully.
I think you are right. My husband looked the same throughout the years in the software. Perhaps because right now, my chin sags and my neck has wrinkles, I suppose the software just highlighted my current flaws and moved them forward.
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
That’s about all I can say. LOL!
