This weeks challenge is to take a photo of something inside. As an example the challenger posted a photo of the inside of an almond croissant (pictured here). I have several photos that I could enter but I have narrowed it down to these three: a photo of the inside of a child’s chalk box, a photo of a home made cherry pie I baked recently and a photo of the inside of a box that is holding a dozen delicious gourmet Italian delicacy treats: canolli.
You decide. Which do you like best?
Cherries, cherries, cherries are the winners! But is Cannoli sweet or savoury?
Thanks Gilly Gee. Canolli is very sweet. It’s a mixture of ricotta cheese and powdered sugar stuffed into a fried pastry shell. It’s simply amazing.

that box of chalk is so sweet and reminds me of so much
Thanks, Jo. A group of young children were drawing on the sidewalk. As I looked down, you can see the chalk plus some of their etchings on the concrete. Priceless.
I have to go for the canolli, but only because I’d want my cherry pie with a top crust and already baked. That and I suspect that it’s already gone!
Yes Ruth. I baked the pie already. The photo I submitted was part of my series on how to bake a cherry pie. But since the challenge was for ‘inside’ I just submitted the interior shot of the pie. The pie, BTW was told to be one of my best, as per my hungry husband.

Love the cannolis!
I’m enjoying a bowl of cherries now and wondered where the trigger came from…
I made the pie a few weeks ago when cherries first came in to season. Usually, cherries are very, very expensive BUT when in season the price drops amazingly low. Thus, I baked the cherry pie.
It came out perfect!
